At 9:45 PM on Friday, May 9, 2008, inside the gates of AT&T Park, our son, Anthony Giraudo, suffered a terminal blow to the head. He was enjoying his favorite pastime: baseball and friends. Anthony is survived by a community that loved him. The outpouring of support generated by friends, family and neighbors has been enormous.

We now realize how many people Anthony influenced in his short time with us. As a testimony to his brief but rich life, we have created the Anthony Giraudo Memorial Scholarship. These funds will support the student athletes of Woodside High School: Anthony's alma mater.

Please join us in solidifying Anthony's legacy, while supporting a future generation of young men and women who will greatly benefit from your generosity and love.
